Not my personal favs as such, but mentions to Mayweather and Hopkins, who are great technicians and masters of their craft. Maybe JMM too in terms of ring iq. Rigo is my favourite

Finito Lopez, Carlos Monzon, Salvador Sanchez, Gene Tunney, Floyd Patterson, Benny Leonard, Floyd Mayweather, Nicolino Locche, Bernard Hopkins, James Toney, Pernell Whitaker, etc too many. I guess of the old school it'd be Benny Leonard and last 30 yrs it's between Sanchez, Whitaker, Hopkins, and Floyd.

Mayweather is the man. Not only is he a master technician but he is also a master tactician and a true artist. There has never been a fighter who holds as many degrees in the sweet science as the Money man. Rigo and Hopkins has the tech and tact degrees but they are not artist. Pernell was an artist and a master technician but he wasn't a tactical master. I regress, Ali held all three degrees but he wasn't as sound as Mayweather.
