Am I the only person that sees serious similarities between Zab Judah and BJ Penn?

Both seem to have got to where they are based more on natrual talent rather than hard work and dedication, both have been/are trained by family members who might not have been the best option for them.
Both have fallen short when they've had their shot at greatness.

Somewhat, but BJ Penn achieved more in mma than Judah did in boxing. He beat a legitmate ATG in the weight class above at his best in Hughes, where as Zab never did and got put down by every great fighter he fought the best he could muster was a good 1st vs Koysta and a good first couple of rounds vs Mayweather.

I get what you mean unfufilled talent, but BJ fufllied his much more imo.

    Also Zabs a massive ****. :D.

    :yep

i would have compared bj more to mayweather than judah, both could have reached way higher ATG status had they of been more committed, BJ was never arsed and mayweather is too inactive

There are some similarities. But I aways liked BJ and mostly disliked Judah. To be fair though I think they have both achieved a degree of greatness.
