Boxing News has decided to put one article each week from its print issue online on its website. This will go up each Monday and will be the article from the previous Thursday's issue which the Editor (Tris Dixon) deems most appropriate. This Monday the new feature debuts with a Where Are They Now piece on former heavyweight champion James "Bonecrusher" Smith.

While we have called it Editor's Choice, it would still be helpful to us to obtain feedback going forward from any of you guys who read the mag and can tell me if there is an article you particularly liked. If we get enough readers favouring one particular piece that is the obvious choice to put up. Cheers guys.

Sounds a good idea, thanks Danny. Is it only on articles like Where Are They Now and State Of The Game or does it cover features as well like the Darchinyan interview the other week?

Absolutely everything in the mag with the sole proviso that it will be just one article per week. Features, news, reports, previews, anything.

Alright nice one. I get it every week anyway, but still a very good idea. People think it might not mean much but it'll encourage people to get it. Some of my mates wern't into boxing at all but some of them get the mag now and again mostly because of reading stuff on the website and are now casual fans.

Any update on the subscription problem?

There has been no snow since before Xmas, but still no sign of normal service. An edition arrived on Wednesday. I thought "1 day early, great", but it was the 16.12.10 edition. Still waiting on the 23/12 edition and will probably get yesterday's edition in February.

Colin, I think the Royal Mail is just shite. I dont subscribe anymore because there isnt any postal service here at the weekend so I'd get it on a Tuesday*. But I ordered the annual, it got sent out 2 days ago and I got it this morning and the weekly one is in shops every week.

*Which got me thinking Danny, now that it's out on a Thursday any idea if I'd get it before the weekend now?

Very appropriate for the Where Are They Now feature.

Don't give up hope. My Xmas edition arrived a couple of days ago.

This did make me laugh. But the subscription delivery problems are no laughing matter (although neither are they the subject of this thread). We are beholden to Royal Mail who I would hope are improving their all-round game with the snow gone.

The digital edition is also available for subscribers who pm me their subs number.
