I put in El Finito too. I also drew a blank on Paul Williams and Gerald McClellan, even though I knew them. I reckon there were a handful I genuinely didn't know and another handful that I just couldn't for the life of me remember.

    I know the feeling.

For Bobby Chacon I typed "the Boy" then "Boy Wonder" when all along it was "Schoolboy". So I was in the area but couldn't quite remember.

I didn't know Dwight Qawi or Virgil Hill's but they both came to me out of the blue with about 30 seconds left on the clock left to run. The rest I knew pretty much straight away.

One thing that stood out for me is that Elmer Ray still has one of the best nicknames in boxing history.

Hahaha - yeah, he certainly does! Nigel Benn's is a great one as well - it's got that echo of the past in terms of Joe Louis but it also stands out on its own.

I knew Dwight Qawi's but I couldn't quite recall it - I was saying to myself 'I know it starts with a place name and that place is in New Jersey', but I just couldn't think of it in time.

I actually put in the Cuban BonBon and then went 'no, dammit, that's Kid Chocolate!'

The quiz stats against each nickname are quite interesting - statistically the hardest to get are Miguel Canto and Peter Jackson.

No surprise to me. I drew a complete blank on both.

I got 62. Had about 10 minutes to go but looked over the ones I didn’t have and couldn’t think of anything for them.

93% believe it or not. I guess I’ve been on this forum long enough to have read about and memorized most of these fighters nicknames while also reading about them on Wikipedia.
