Anyone know of any decent boxing podcasts available!! i listen to Buncies as and when i can but there is nothing else that i know of that is even remotely good! any ideas will be much appreciated!!:bbb
There was also one called the Boxing Truth Radio (i think) presented by 2 Mexican Americans but that became unreliable (it was meant to be weekly but they kept missing weeks) so i stopped bothering with that.
i usually listen to On The Grind. I disagree with a lot of what they say but they are quite interesting chacters and have decent guests. It's American though and so they don't cover domestic fights/fighters really.
The best one was boxing clever with reidy and the brain but sadly its no longer on, they had differing views with the direction of the show and decidided to call it a day. I for one would love to see (hear) it back.
I used to love that but, like you say, they would go missing for months on end. And what happened to the Main Event with Barkery Jammery & Bobby Rimmer? It moved to tv on Premier for a while but not heard anything of it for a while.
Boxing Truth is gone as is Boxing Clever which were my two faves, Boxing News has one, literally, they haven't put any up since the first which was like listening to a bunch of blokes in the pub. Heavy Hitting isnt bad if you can stomach Kieran Mulvanys weird North American/Irish/Bristolian accent. I'm getting right into Leave it in the Ring podcasts at the mo, 2 a week, 3 hours plus guests, fight analysis and call ins, perfect
