It is true. Floyd's fans have severely damaged the sport. Floyd should have been the fighter of the decade, but instead he has done damage to the sport. He should have been who we rallied behind, but instead he is the guy that embarrasses us. Someone should have told Floyd that fighting the best is what is important, not the size of the paycheque. Only the thugs care about that side of the game, the fans just want to see fights. No one cares about your "perfect" record when you avoid the best fighters when they are in their prime. That is why people will always appreciate Hearns and Leonard more than Mayweather; they were concerned with being great, not with having a manufactured resume. His legacy was already tarnished, but this last bit is probably going to be hard to remove. I think he has done too much damage to reverse it at this point... Well, he will retire rich, that is certain. I wonder if that will be enough for him later on in life? I bet it won't be...

no one is doubting floyd can sell the a fight. speaking engagement,that was after pac was kod. noone was asking him to do anything prior, other than when you gonna fight pac? now pac is back, wonder when is the next speaking engagement. would be comical to hear him diffuse the pac situation again. "pac a has been" was short. "pac who?" didnt work. "i will not work with arum again". comedy gold. boxers/trainers who want to kiss his ass, want a slice of the pie have no reason to be bias right? plenty of boxing greats who have no dog in the fight and who mayweahter cannot influence their opinion with, would like to see the fight and pointed to mayweather as the hesitant one. it is not just the *******s. more and more boxing fans begin to see the mayweather fights becoming a sideshow, not a real fight.

Mayweather is truely the only one that is getting non boxing fans to watch, Pacquiao still kinda of is but not even close and some didnt even know he fought in Novemeber Hes does a bunch of charity work, he speakes around the country, hes fought nothing but top competiton is whole career, i mean he just made the fight everybody wanted to see in Canelo. Just becaue of the Pac mess doesnt hurt our sport, i said it once and i say it again, theres a bunch of people that still blame Pac for not making the fight years ago and are past it.
