basically Pac has gone from strength to strength and cemented his reputation as a great fighter. Floyd has come back from retirement and done the same.

Now the world waits in mounting frustration for the two egos to hammer out a compromise so they can get it on. Disappointingly, as times go by, it seems increasingly unlikely to happen.

After a succession of game but average US heavies, Haye has emerged in the heavyweight scene as the only credible guy to be able to challenge the Klitschkos. At this stage a Haye/Kilt fight is more likely to happen than a Floyd/Pac fight.

Audley Harrison is readying himself for a shot at the heavyweight championship. The world awaits. The Klitschkos tremble.

Wlad is still dominating the heavies, Vitali is back doing much the same.
Haye beat Valuev and Ruiz to prove he is a force to be wreckoned with at heavy. Adamek has some great wins at cruiser and now beaten Golota and Arreola at heavy to provide another world class fighter in that division.

Roy Jones got kayoed by Danny Green and lost to Hopkins in an embarrassment of a fight at light heavy to signal the end of his career (hopefully). Let's hope Bhop follows suite and calls it quits. James Toney is now fighting MMA with the UFC. Chad Dawson continues to beat up the old men, with a pair of wins over Glen Johnson and and also beating Tarver twice. He has been calling out Hopkins lately.

At supermiddle there is a tournament currently still in progress involving Froch, Kessler, Andre Ward, Andre Dirrell, Arthur Abraham and Allan Green. Jermain Taylor suffered yet another KO loss to Arthur Abraham in the tournament (after dramatically being knocked out in the final round by Froch last year in a fight he was winning) and was withdrawn from the tournament. Abraham has since been DQ'd vs Dirrell. Froch beat Dirrell and lost to Kessler. Ward beat Kessler and fights Allan Green next. He is the favorite to take out the tournament.

At 154-160 Sergio Martinez is now the fighter to beat having taken Kelly Pavlik's middleweight titles and putting in a great effort vs Paul Williams in a fight most thought he won. He also holds an interim title at 154 having drawn with Cintron in his last fight. Not much else happening there worth mentioning, except promising prospect James Kirkland was jailed latelast year for 2 years for violating parole for an armed robbery in 2003.

At 147 Pacman continued to astound with dominating victories over Cotto and Joshua Clottey. He was supposed to fight Mayweather after Mayweather made a successful return to the ring with a win over the overmatched Juan Manuel Marquez at 147. However the negotiations broke down after Mayweather accused Pac of using PEDs and his inisisted on Pac adhering to strict USADA drug testing procedures before the fight which Pac refused claiming he will oblige with what the commission demands only. Mayweather has yet to petition the commission for more stringent testing. With no other viable opponents Mayweather was forced to fight Shane Mosley and dominated him this past weekend. Mosley had destroyed Margarito early last year after Margarito was foun with plaster in his wraps andhas been subsequently been banned indefinately from fighting in the US. It is widely believed Margo also cheated in his punishing win over Miguel Cotto in what was a great fight. He has a comeback in Mexico coming up. In order to fight Mayweather, Mosley was forced to undertake the same strict drug testing procedures Mayweather wanted Pac to take and Mayweather is now claiming he is trying to clean up the sport. Hopefully Pac and Mayweather can agree to meet later this year as that is the fight everybody wants.

I'll do 140 and below later
