It doesn't allow for casual fans to watch as they can't buy a fight for a one off. None of the pubs near me have it (i've asked them to) and i'm not gonna be a sad ******* and go home to watch it.

Yeah, but that wasn't really their fault. They had the BBBofC threatening anyone that would appear on it. But generally speaking, OK, they haven't been delivering with the domestic shows. Still, they have done Haye/Chisora, Ricky Burns vs Kevin Mitchell, George Groves vs Glen Johnson which were OK fights. And David Price vs Tony Thompson was a fair test. Well, it turned out to be too much of a test on the night...

I'm looking forward to the domestic stuff coming up this month actually. Hope we get Audley Harrison vs Deontay Wilder officially confirmed.

 

Had some good news yesterday. Due to the price of beer going up in my local, Boxnation now costs considerably less than a pint of beer a week.

John Rawling is music to my ears compared to The Colonel and Benny Ricardo, those two are ****in woeful, seriously seriously seriously bad

 

Some ***** of a landlord tried charging me £4.60 for a pint of San Miguel, I reluctantly bought the beer and then sloped off to the off licence next door and bought 6 cans for £5.50 and topped up my glass whenever I needed a refill. This worked well until I was so pissed I opened a can at the bar and started swigging from it in front of the furious landlord and was promptly barred. :-(

I'm not as interested in the international fights unless a British fighter is involved, are those International fights going to attract casual fans?

Got chucked out of my darts team for a similar offence and had to beg to be allowed back in the next week, only the drink in question was carling so slightly more pathetic.
