    I get the feeling that some people on here would like to see the end of boxnation

    Why? That's exactly what he meant by the figure 400,000: people that have at any time been a subscriber. It also sounds a lot more impressive than saying they now have 75,000 subscribers (or whatever the number may be).

    Boxnation of no consequence to 99.99% of the sporting public in the UK.

    Subscription football only channels would have been around for years if there was demand for a viable single sport channel.

    No demand for it so Butt Nation has no chance of making money - no Wonga = no business.

    Bill Ives of Rainham Steel is bank rolling that channel if he pulled out FW would be ****ed

    A pretty poor channel to be honest, I'd rather see the big fights on Sky Sports.

    Much more popular sports for a start, lfc tv is free, Man United channel is broadcast in many countries and I'd wager any more their subscriber base is bigger than BN, Celtic tv isn't on sky anymore

    Celtic TV still exists, and the argument was that there aren't football-only channels, which there clearly are.

    hope boxnation survives, its the best channel on the telly, 24 hr boxing, classic fights, all the top fights from overseas for 3 quid a week, I spend more on twixes

    Well Sky Sports largely dumped international boxing. If it wasn't for BoxNation, we just wouldn't get most of the American cards.
