braces and competing

    can you have braces and be allowed to box as an amateur?

    i saw this on another forum but it was about in america and only about sparring and didnt realy have any answers either.

    Turn Pro, they don't give a **** about anything as long as you past a medical.

    I wouldn't recommend it. Delay getting braces, you can get them once you've finished boxing. That's if you have any teeth left. Just joking.:good

    Maybe you should consider using a belt?

    Yeah, or get better elastic in your trunks. I can't see them letting you wear galluses in the ring, me son.

    i have read the rules and i does not say that u cant have braces.

    just email or call your state assosiation and ask them.

    I Boxed with braces you just need a propper mouthgaurd for top and bottom.
