Nice work ..really enjoyed this. Dont like the term Check hook but other than that really enjoyed it. Alexis was /is one of my absolute favorite fighters and when I think of early 80's boxings which is the last truly great era for me. Alexis is one of the first names I think of.

Arguello wouldn't have been great if he didn't have massive height and reach advantages. The only time he was ever on an even playing field was against Escalera.

I think he was fighting in the wrong weight class. He should have been about 30 pounds north of where he fought. A couple of guys have done that over the years. Hearns, Spinks, Saddler, Foster.
