Well either you view a signed contract as a decent indication that this fight will happen or you don't. You clearly don't, which is fine.
I seem to recall seeing a charming Shannon the Cannon video with him holding a signed copy of the contract bellowing 'let's go champ'. Stop threatening me with Chelmsford.
I'm not with you on this one. If I video myself with a 'suppose signed contract' and say "Lets Go Champ" would you believe me that I'm fighting Haye next? Only when there is an official announcement then we know its a done deal.
In truth, I kind of suspect that Briggs and Haye have entered into some sort of contract to fight after their next fights. Mostly as they've both said so, but also because I felt the video or photo from Briggs was genuine enough. The alternative is that it is a big hoax and the fight won't happen, which I'm fine with. I like the champ. And I like Haye. It's a shame they have to fight.
If Biggs beats Dimitrenko then he's earned his shot at Haye, this is a tough fight for Briggs, I was expecting him to fight some bum to make himself look better than he is to casuals.
Basically if they both get through their fights and haye cannot get a title shot then he'll meet briggs in the ring.
If Briggs beats Dimitrenko he's earned a spot as a fringe contender. Haye has yet to do so, regardless of what happens against Graja(sic). Its really a joke, both fighters have similar historical resume's, but neither one has beaten a contender in many years. All Haye has going for him is that its been fewer years than it's been for Briggs.
Alex Dimitrenko.. the 2K Junior World SHW champ.. good prospect at one time.. Good win for either man..
