One of the best british prospects we currently have imo, and judging by his last fight, ready to step up a level domestically.

So who would you match him up against in the super bantamweight division? Is he ready for Martin Power/Michael Hunter/Matthew Marsh?

I think he would beat Power, Hunter moving up to featherweight if he is still carrying on and wouldnt mind seeing him in there with Marsh.

I heard he was a novice and didn't have a extensive amateur record and brought himself into sport and has just adapted with ease, He looked promising last time out and i agree with above if he's good enough lets step him up. He seems grounded and proficient technically to deal with the step up.

Yeah he only had summit like 12 am fights I think it was.

Great prospect, I'd like see him in there with Power.

The Power fight would be interesting. What weight does Davies fight at now?

hes down to fight someone with a losing record next - hopefully just to stay busy. Get him in power and marsh this year and go for rendall next year. Already seems to be technically better than munroe just much less experienced.

he is down to fight nikita lukin , although he has a losing record he is ranked 11 by the EBU because in his second last fight he beat the EBU no1 so he is not as bad as his record suggests

He also has only been stopped once and he gave Paul Hyland all he could handle. So he won't just fall over or cover up all fight and Quigg will probably get some rounds in it wouldn't be a bad thing if he got another 8 rounds in the bank before stepping up to championship class.

I like the look of him - with Joe Murray as possibly Hatton's best prospect.
