Really have to turn off the commentary after hearing Toe Haye's reaction to Willy Hutchinson's win. The guy was 1/200 odds on at the Bookmakers with his opponent simply a no hoper Bulgarian Punchbag with 27 defeats. Listening to Haye's tripe, I have just seen a reaction which would be understandable if Willy had just sparked out Floyd Mayweather in his prime and unified his division. Shades of Ali provided when in reality to the educated it is Shades of Comical Ali. Haye would have the public believe that Liverpool had just thumped Barcelona 22-1 in the Champions League final when they only won 0-2 away to Exeter City while playing in neutral gear. About time the public were spared this garbage commentary week after week.
Was it himself and Bunce agreeing between them that the Fury who beat Wallin was a much better Fury than the one who drew Wilder? Made my eyes pop out.
I do remember some nonsense that night as well - Big John Fury was the only man who called it as he seen it. Fuming he was and we all seen Fury looked lethargic all fight.
Haye is the definition of a shyster, he'll sing anyone's tune for a few quid. If he told me it was raining outside I'd go and check. I'm really not a fan of Bellew and was cheering for Haye in both fights but in hindsight I'm glad he was embarrassed in front of the world.
I didn’t see Willy’s fight or the post fight reaction but I think Haye is ok as a pundit barring the occasional hyperbole.
