I've been looking for some decent British P4P rankings however the only decent ones I can seem to find are Sky (out of date and probably biased) and BBC (simply ridiculous). On the general forum the TBR seems to be gathering pace and their criteria for defining P4P rankings are as follows: How high is the quality of the fighters opposition? How strong is the fighters career-long resume? How advanced is the fighters ring generalship? How willing is the fighter to accept all-comers? Based on the above who are you're British top5 P4P boxers? 1. Carl Froch (Easy) 2. Amir Khan (Resume is good, Robbed by PEDerson) 3. Martin Murray (Arguably beat Martinez) 4. Darren Barker (World Champ, decent show vs Martinez) 5. Kell Brook (Destroyed Senchencko) I'm contracdicting this a little with Brook at 5 but the performace vs Senchencko was so good. Left out Haye due to inactivity and possible retirement, probably should be #2/3. Frampton arguably deserves a place based on Kiko now being a world champ. Burns opposition not strong enough and lost to Beltran. Cleverly found out at top level. Fury best win is Chisora/Cunningham, future top 3 probably. Bellew flies into the top 3 if he beats Stevenson which is doubtful.
Khan should not be number 2 imo,he hasnt had a decent win in over 2 and a half years.P4P is based on current form not past accomplishments.
Point taken, however hes got to eb in the top 5. I started that post to see if anyone knew of any decent P4P ranking and got carried away and ended up doing my own list. After Froch it is very difficult to divide the rest
Definitely top 5,he's still probably the best Jr WW/WW in the country until someone proves otherwise. The BBC made a list that goes like this. Froch Brook Burns Khan Frampton Murray Barker Quigg McDonnell Cleverly I dont disagree that they are not the top 10 but definitely not in that order. Cleverly
Terry, you have Barker in at 3 and Macklin nowhere in top 10. Based on what results exactly???(You do realise Sturm will beat Barker?) Also you have a plodding mulloker like Murray ahead of a top class operator like Carl Frampton???:huh You're probably not giving Brook and Quigg enough credit either, but those ratings are at least arguable....

Khan's lucky to be in the top 10 I place him inside the top 10 because the remainder below him haven't fought at some of the levels he has. That said, the guys below him don't make a habit of getting flattened! This time next year Khan will be completely irrelevant not just irrelevant
Macklin whilst a solid campaigner does not have any momentum, you don't climb rankings by getting KO'd, he's rebuilding right now Barker will punch Sturm around the ring :deal
