Aston Villa fan Broadhurst says he wants to challenge WBA champion Kal Yafai and according to Hearn, the 33-year-old could be only two wins away. Broadhurst will box on the undercard when Yafai defends his world title in front of his home town crowd at the Barclaycard Arena on Saturday, May 13 – and they look to be on a collision course. Hearn said: “I would love to make the fight between Don and Kal, but I can't do it yet." “Don is probably two good wins away from the fight." “We need to get him a world ranking and maybe we can get him a shot at the WBA Intercontinental title on the next Birmingham show." “If he wins that and defends it, then we could look at making the fight." “That's definitely a fight I would like to make." “That would be a massive fight in the Midlands."
