Broken Knuckle recovery

I broke my knuckle on my baby finger,doctor doesnt think it will require surgery,how long before I can get back to training,anyone had the same problem?

 

Fractured mine wresting, just give a few weeks and try throwing some soft blows, and make sure you wrap really good, if any pain, stop

 

Im in a cast at the moment,how long before that comes off?

 

I guess it depends, mine was just splinted for a while when it happened, but should take no longer than a month.

 

At least a year.

 

I'd make sure to do an adequate amount of rehab when it heals up

 

You didn't think to ask the doctor that? He will be the one that determines how long it stays on. What 's the point of asking an internet forum atsch

 

I paid good money for my Interwebz doctorate. I gave him sound advice.

I have to go back and see him next friday to see how long, was just curious

 

Can't believe you didn't think to ask the doctor at the time. Would have been the very first thing most people would have asked him :yep

 

I was in a and e and the radiographer put the cast on, I wont see the doctor until next friday

 

and you didn't think to ask the radiographer how long the cast was likely to be on?
