dont know if its broken or not, I think it is. ill give you some background on my nose, it used to work fine a few years back but one night I walked into a glass door which I thought was open, busted up my nose, ever since then I've had one good nostril and the other I couldn't breath out of, but sometimes the good one would occasional close up and leave me breathing thru my mouth. ive had this for a few years and am used to it.

but last friday I went sparring and had an opened face headgear on. I sparred my friend who's a southpaw with long gorilla arms, I'm talking about he looks like a spider ******. he always kicks my ass, he's beat me up sparring about 20 times already, but friday was different I was kicking his ass for the first time, I was landing mad combos and had him in the corner. I was thinking "hell yea, I'ma keep this pace for 3 more rounds" but then he caught me with a double left cross to the nose with about 10-15 seconds left and my nose was ****ed, I've never been hit like that in the nose. it was flowing like a faucet. we put a mad amount of nasel gel in to calm it down the bleeding. i didn't think much of it, thought it was a regular nose bleed. but the next morning I woke up and my nose was bleeding again, more nasal gel was added, went to work and it bled a few times again randomly. yesterday it didn't bleed so I thought it healed. but I woke up this morning and it was bleeding again. I dont want to worry myself about it but I want the bleeding to stop. any ideas? im sure boxers have bled before but want to know if its supposed to continue bleeding this long.

Usually you'll get swelling and brusing around your nose and eyes if it's broken. Doesn't mean it's not broken if you don't have any swelling though.

The thing that likely happened to you when you walked into the door is called a deviated septum if you didn't know already. The cartilage in your nose got dammaged and pushed to the side blocking one nostril. Same thing happened to me except from boxing not a door lol.

If you box regularly then have your nose-bone removed by a plastic surgeon. Easy and clean solution.

It can be fixed with surgery. Most doctors won't reccommend it if you are going to continue boxing because it could just happen again.

The recovery is supposed to be extremely uncomfortable.
