It was a big jump, but in reality I think 135 was really too small for him - specially as he gets older. I think he walks somewhere around 165 - 70 and that's a lot to lose for every fight. Unless he was gonna stay trimmer throughout the year I don't think 140s a long term prospect but it might be OK for a coupla years to bridge the gap and rebuild his confidence (though he might wanna think twice 'bout fighting Argentines). 147 definitely doesn't seem right for him at this point, though it's worth seeing how he responds to the loss - if he matures a bit, hones his technique and puts in the work he might still be able to achieve something
140 would be a good weight for him, not sure if hewill ever have enough pop on his punches to be an elite 147 but he is 24, along time to go yet.
Broner looked fat a few months ago, I think for the Mayweather-Canelo All Access. He isn't as dedicated as he should be and probably balloons a little inbetween fights. His ego probably also had a part to play, he probably thought he could go to 147 and carry his power up with him. He is essentially a come forward fighter who does best walking down smaller opponents, he never adapted for 147 because his footwork is awful. If he wanted to I'm sure he could have stayed at 135 for a few fights more and be contemplating a move to 140 in 2014.
Danny Beats him for sure, i can even see stoppage, Lucas would also beat him Broner has no workrate and he aint stopping Lucas. Broner has terible defense getting hit wide very wide shot, first thing he needs is to realise he isnt Floyd and doesnt have his ability so he needs to adapt to what he can do not ehat Floyd can, we realise he is in love with Floyd but he needs to control it.
