Lucas is without QUESTION Broner's biggest threat from 135-140. Broner's speed and skill set should see him through, but Matthyse is the only one who truly has the fight ending power to threaten him.
Broner's not a ****. He's not gonna fight Matthyse the same way he fought Rees. Broner knew Rees had no firepower to hurt him with, so he wasn't concerned with taking a few to walk Rees down. Obviously, he's not gonna take that same approach fighting someone as strong and powerful as Matthyse.
I agree he will show more respect in a matthysse fight but his body will be open and Lucas loves to go there with a vengeance hmmm makes me wonder

hard to call, not toally sold on mathysse. however, i think that its almost a toss up, it depends on brobers chin. i think broners chin is solid but its untested, we will know soon

No way this one happens. GBP is going to try to keep Broner moving up the weights briskly to set up a superfight with Canelo "Kid Ginger" Alvarez for the 154 pound belt in late 2015 or early 2016. It appears GBP wants to see if they can make some money off Danny Garcia as well, so they're not going to have Garcia fight Matthysse, or Garcia fight Broner, or Matthysse fight Broner at 140. Ever. Garcia or Broner losing isn't part of the plan. Expect Broner to move up to 140 against Lamont Peterson most likely.
