A boxer that prides himself on being elusive tests the water just in case he does get hit. It was strategy all along to get hit every so often. Thats bull**** the more likely case was he wasnt concerned about Rees' power so wasnt concerned about getting hit every so often when he did attack. I personally think that saying he was getting tagged on purpose whilst trying to look slick and impenetrable in defensive mode is tremendously disrespectful towards what Rees actually managed to achieve in that ring and how he applied himself in general. He got tagged more in those five rounds than he ge got hit during his entire 3 previous bouts.:smoke
I absolutely would not call that a fact. Broner got hit with a lot of clean body shots last night. If those shots were from Mattysse, I'm not sure Broner would walk through them, at all.
Matthyse takes a boatload of shots all night too. He would not see the 12th if those shots were from Broner. Broner's chin is iron Matthyse has not fought an elite hard puncher. I really think his life could be in danger if he fights Broner. Stay the hell away from that man!

Mattysse does get hit, however he's more the natural 140lber of the 2 & I don't think it's safe to say Broner has more power than the Judah's or Alexander's of the world just yet. I'm not saying Mattysse win's for sure, I'm saying I wouldn't go as far as to call Broner winning a fact. At 140, Broner's size advantage is gone, there are genuine power punchers there. Neither of us can say if broner can stand up to flush shots from the hardest puncher there.
MVC, now you are beginning to sound asinine. Since fighting PDL (who Broner lost to), he hasn't fought ANYONE notable and you can include DeMarco who quit against Valero and beat another questionable fighter in Linares. At this point, Broner has beat some C and B- level fighters. He has beat NO ONE of any consequence.
