I spoke to him down at the Hatton card in Stoke last week, and he said it would probably be in the New Year now and he was waiting to hear a date. Looking forward to this one, shame it won't be on the Khan undercard but its a top quality Friday Fight Night headliner for Sky (*Edit - I mean I spoke to Jennings, not Kell Brook)
To be honest i'm glad its not on a Khan undercard, it deserves its main event status on a FFN. Also it might not even be shown on TV if it were on a Khan undercard.
I am really looking forward to this, Brooke look's special but I think Jennings will give him a really hard time and may edge a points victory.
I like Michael Jennings he's a dedicated hard working pro who gives his all, but Kel Brook is very special IMO, he's got excellent timing and undoubted power. There are still questions over his chin and stamina, but I think he's gonna be leading our next wave of British Boxing Superstars. I reckon Kel stops him around the halfway mark :toney
A shame it won't be on the Khan bill. Probably would have been the difference that meant me buying the card. Still, at least we'll get to see it for free!
