Lets get one thing straight Khan or No Khan, Brook has had 35 fights now and has only beaten one decent world level fighter in a boring jab and hold SD win Fight.. True or Fulse? Regardless of him wanting to fight Khan who at the age of 22 has been fighting decent world level comp in the U.S win or lose, Brook had a chance to fight a big name after his MANDATORY Jo Jo why didnt he? Brook needs to up his comp in order for to be regarded as a real world champion and if he fight Rios next just shows he not really looking to step up too.. Algieri is a better opponent then Gavin and thats a fact, I know both fights were more keep busy fights.. If Khan dont fight one these fighters next then i will come on here and be the first one to complain here.. Floyd, if not then Brook, Thurman, Bradley, Broner-Porter Winner only.. Khan has to have a big fight later this year has too..
:rofl yes he is an option, very easy title defense, can see that happening actually unless Bertoe is Maidana's comeback fight and it shoudl be really.
i can say for sure khan will choose a big name if he doesnt get floyd.... cant say the same about brook.... he has fought nothing but bums except one fight
Hasn't he got a fight in June/July though?. I guess if its late August its possible, he is coming off a loss though, don't like guys getting title shots off a loss. Same with Devon then, who i can't stand anyway.
yea it's khan's fault because he didnt take the fight vs brook atsch so because of this brook has no choice to fight bums.... so sad..... maidana, thurman, bradley, etc. all just waiting around but khan didn't take the fight so brook has to choose a bum atsch:deal
I could repeat the same old reasons why Brook has only fought Dan (mando) and Gavin (Khan duck) and not Thurman (was injured at the time, now fighting Collazo to defend paper title) JMM (Also injured) Floyd/Manny (not available/not interested) or Bradley (has gave up his IBF mando) but quite frankly I am bored mate. Khan's been fighting for years, agreed. But who has he beat that was genuine world class (concensus top ten) in his entire career? Maidana? Yes. Kotelnik? Yes Judah? He held a title at the time, so yes. Malignaggi? Alexander? Both are debatable. So, in his entire professional career, Khan has beat (at the time) three genuine world class fighters and two debatables. Not exactly the "Murderers Row" that some try to pretend that it is, is it? The irony is that Khan is now Brook's mando!! The champion wants it, the sanctioning body should demand it... Yet the challenger doesn't want it. Its bizarre and extremely embarrassing for Khan and his fans, don't you think? And when Khan fails to secure the Mayweather fight and once again avoids all world class opposition to fight a low risk opponent, I expect you to be true to your word!!
Let us consider the elite WWs (in no particular order) for an opponent for Kell, shall we? Maidana is not available (he's about 200lbs and is in no rush to come back (you should know this). Bradley could have been Brook's mandatory, but Tim decided to forfeit his IBF ranking to "Go in another direction" so he ruled himself out (you should know this). JMM is injured and has been for a long time (you should know this). Thurman was injured during the Guerrero fight and is now WBC REGULAR CHAMPION and Keith prefers to defend his "title" against Collazo than pursue a fight with Brook at this time (you should know this). Manny is injured (you should know this). Floyd isn't interested (he'd beat Kell, but Brook is not "box office" enough for that fight to be made.. you should know this). Guerrero got a hiding off Thurman in March, is fighting bog Standard Martinez for his comeback fight next month and is not looking for a Brook fight at present (you should know this). Porter is fighting Broner next month and a rematch with Brook may be made (you should know this). Kell Brook cannot fight himself (I hope you know this). As for Khan, he refused to fight Brook (I know you know this). So where are these elite WWs who Kell is avoiding?? The reality is, you don't seem to know much about boxing or the current state of the welterweight division, do you? Your ignorance is hilarious.
That was never denied though, was it? Apart from Maidana and possibly Alexander, Khan has done fu ck all these past five years. And even someone as irrational and biased as you must acknowledge that. Khan is clearly regressing and Brook is in his prime.
