I've just watched the big fight weigh in/countdown program on Setanta, and was stunned when Steve Bunce claimed that: "David Haye has been a professional boxer since the age of about nine or ten". I hope Buncey wasn't making this up, because I have reported this claim to the relevant authorities, as child labour laws are very strict in this country. Did I do the right thing???
Watch the program yourself, Bunce said those very words. The man is a professional boxing pundit, so it's highly unlikely he was just spouting gibberish.
Apparently at the age of 7, like David Tua, Haye's father forced him to fight grown men outsied their corner shop. By the time Haye was nine he already cleaned out the whole neigbourhood so he had to start taking on Pro's at the local gym.
Apparently Enzo was the top dog at the local grave yard Warren used to get Joe's old opponents from. :yep

He was on Fighting Talk on Radio Five Live this morning and said that Lennox Lewis ducked Riddick Bowe. I think it's just been a real red letter day for Buncy's ramblings.
