burnouts on bad

    Are burnouts aka punch outs on the heavy bag for 30 seconds good for building power. I find it a good workout when the last 30 seconds are down on the bag and giving it all u got.Any body else here do punchouts,or do u just work on technique the whole round.

    yeah, mix it up though. sometimes do it for more then 30 seconds and sometimes do that 30 seconds in the middle or beginning of the round. I do that because i wanna know if I'm in a fight, when I throw a lot of punches early in the round that i can still keep my composure and stay in the fight. you don't wanna have it in your head that wants you go hard for 30 seconds that that's it

    It's a great excercise to build up your arm endurance
