Burns sparring Evensen

    He is going out to Norway for a week to spar former opponent Andreas Evensen. Not really sure why Burns is doing this if I'm honest Evensen isn't near world level so not sure how he is going to prepare for top guys against guys like this.

    Evensen's actually a pretty solid fighter. No business in that world title fight, but a good Euro level guy nonetheless.

    it does seem strange but maybe he nothing better to do, and they offered him a week free board to go Norway and spar, or FW still owes money to him for the fight they had so sent Burns as part payment,

    Seems pointless. Evensen should be going over to spar Burns if anything. Burns' career handling of late has been a joke.

    I have stayed friendly with his coach who his a really nice man and was asked could we go over to help,Ricky said no problem whatsoever and is doing it for free,John Simpson and David Brophy are joining us for the week,really looking forward to helping Andreas for his euro shot in Feb

    not far from Trondheim from what I read on BS, nice wee area is Trondheim.

    there are more women than men per the population and its big student area, some braw birds there!!

    Maybe he can a make snowman to fight for his WBO belt. Would be better than the opponents Ricky's been fighting recently.

    No I don't train John he's just coming over for sparring.
    And no I don't manage Rhys and haven't for around 6-7 months
