Which is why Yusef Mack, who couldn't knock down Alejandro Berrio, knocked him down.

I think a lot of people here seriously overrate Kessler's power.

Bute wide UD. Andrade maybe takes 2 or 3 rounds.

Hey I merely said "can make a comeback" . . . so I'm not under estimating Bute here.

Andrade becomes stronger and more dettermined as the fight progresses reason why I'm considering that scenario.

bute-andrade is a good measuring stick for the division and that's pretty well it.

I voted Bute by decision... but I'm rooting for a Andrade TKO.

Fair enough :) But watch Bute's rythm go up as the fight progresses.

I don't know if you watch MMA, but a parallel can be made with the strategy Bute will favor for this match. When George St-Pierre fought Matt Hughes the second time, everyone thought St-Pierre would try to fight him standing because Hughes is so strong on the floor. But he surprised everyone including Hughes going on the floor and owning him.

Watch Bute pressuring Andrade and exploiting his difficulty fighting on the back foot (Not because he isn't good, just because he fought 98% of his fights going forward).

And by the way, Bute hits pretty hard guys... harder then Kessler.:ko

I've got Bute winning this one without a problem...but it was a perfect punch, flush on the jaw and Andrade wasn't even hurt.

It wasn't like Mack clipped him, Andrade went down flat on his face and did the chicken dance on his way up.

Bute has to use his feet a whole lot more than he normally does. At the same time he must show elite timing and endurance against a pressure(!) fighter with a p4p top 3 chin.

If Bute boxes at his best level and moves to perfection all 12 rounds he will most likely win by UD. But I think that Bute has some flaws that will show against the type of fighter Andrade is.

This is btw a brave matchup and choice by Bute. He cannot beat Andrade up the aesthetically perfect way in which Kessler did. In order to really move himself on top of the division he must TKO Andrade and then gun for Kessler.

    But thats highly unlikely imho.

Andrade will probably walk into something big from Bute. Unlike with Kessler, Bute will actually put his weight behind a sneaky left and probably land clean on Andrade.

Yes Andrade has a terrific chin but he's facing a guy who rivals him in size and power. Mack caught Andrade with a damn good left hook but a straight left will do more damage as Andrade steps into it.

I don't see this going into the second half. This would be like Margarito fighting a bigger, more powerful version of Zab Judah. One of the worst punches to get caught with while stepping in is a straight left.

I simply dont believe that Bute carries the power to KO or even TKO Andrade. I think that even Mack has more power than Bute. Kesslers power IS overrated because of his size and build, but he has the same power that Bute carries. And did you see the punches he landed flush on Andrades chin?

I counted 4-5 true KO punches that would have knocked out almost anybody else at smw. Including Bute.

Bute doesnt react well (up untill this point) on pressure. Its a weakness he has imo. Hence the prediction; Andrade TKO 11 Bute.

Bute's also not on level with Kessler anyway, the way he would win would be close decision, as he did over Bika, a lesser fighter than Andrade.

Some people don't seem to get that Kessler dominated everyone but his loss to Calzaghe, Bute has not and has faced worst competition at that, he will not dominate Andrade badly and doesn't have the style to do so anyway, no inside fighting skill and a leaky defence.

    They'll be surprised, as usual.
