I think Froch is gonna go for it and stop bute late, bute is fast but he can be hit more so than ward, plus at the back of my head knowing 2 of the judges are american that would only fuel the fire to go for the ko.

Froch to stop bute in the 9th

I'm really split. In so many ways Bute should win this convincingly. He is the better technical boxer, he is faster, he hits as hard, his defence is better and he varies his shots more....

But I do think Froch can hurt him. If Froch buys into his own belief of being a better boxer than he really his, he will be dominated and stopped in the mid to late rounds. If he decides to close the gap, use the jab only as a means to offset Bute whilst moving inside, then he has a shot at turning it into a fight. In a fight, the odds change and Froch has a good chance. He still is slight underdog because he should be getting hit more and could end up being hurt and stopped, but he negates some of Butes speed up close and can slow him down further by hurting him and mauling a bit.

Butes chin might be better than I'm thinking, and if it is solid then Froch loses for sure. If it is not the best, then Froch could win by TKO or by points due to Bute slowing and being bullied.

I will say Bute TKO 8. But I wouldn't put money on it and it is a very interesting fight, unlike Ward where it was obvious Ward would cruise to a UD.

Hope Froch aims to push him back and actually looks to throw the uppercut inside and really stop Bute from finding a rhythm.

    116-112 Bute
    115-113 Foch
    114-114

And people to claim Bute was robbed.

since he stopped taylor hes fought:

dirrell, who was unbeaten and still is apart from that loss

kessler, who hasnt ever been stopped and only 2 defeats against world class

athur abraham who has never been stopped and had only lost to dirrell by DQ when frotch beat him and has only lost to ward since

johnson, who is a ****ing warrior and has a jaw like a breeze block he been in with numerous world class light hevies and never been stopped (and yes im ignoring the farce of the hopkins fight back in 96 97 i think it was)

ward, the man and future p4p king

i dont think you can say his power is massively overrated
