I thought the same before, but two weeks ago or so (during the media stuff with Ward he did in UK) he said that Showtime wanted Bute with him next (since he is convince he is winning the final) and that it's good since it would make the winner have the three major belts. So who knows about post S6.

    Kessler feels differently.

He believes he will beat Ward comfortably if the fight is in a neutral place.

He also thinks he will beat Froch, but says that it would be a much harder fight.

He also said that if Ward-Froch had not been in the US he would be sure that Froch would win. and when the journalist pressured him to tip the current fight he still said Froch but said that much could happen and it was very difficult to predict.

He need to think this if he wasn't had that mentality he wouldn't be a quality boxer like he his now.

I agree about the poor referee job Though

Bute will not fight anyone who is not willing to face him in Canada and pick up the smaller piece of the purse, or 50% at the most, if the amount turns out to be huge. Considering that, Froch is the only one who is gonna go there, forget Ward and probably Kessler too.

Stieglitz is the right fight for Kessler now, it makes much more sense than Bute, as the money is about the same, but Kessler fights at home and an easier opponent to tune him up again at the top level.

Froch will never ever go to canada and fight for 50% or less and why should he?

Kessler was offered somewhere between 30 and 40% for a fight in Montreal. LMAO at posters who thinks that offer is not pathetic.

Whatever. We have 3 fine SMW fights coming up. What happens after that is anybodys guess:

Does Interbox have the money to bring a top guy to Montreal?
Is Bute and/or Kessler willing to travel?
Can Ward be lured out of Oakland?
    Etc.

Whatever happens, boxingfans looks in for a continous treat from this dynamite division.

Exactly. So, why hating on Bute or Kessler?

Pretty sure both guys want to fight.

But hey, I'm just a stupid french Canadian.

Unlike all non-Canadian, I don't know the truth.

A common psychological bias. He praises the guy he beat and is negative about the one who beat him. Like if he can't realize that saying Ward is not that good does not any good for his own reputation.

I'm not saying the Interbox offer was great. You are saying that it was mediocre though, without being able to prove it. You also pretend not to read when we tell you that Sauerland had decided to go the Stieglitz way before receiving the offer from Bute's camp. That alone is all I need to know Sauerland is bullshitting. Like when he said Stieglitz was as good as Bute. :rofl It's your choice to believe a bullshitter, don't try to convince me, that's all.

Also, wasn't Sauerland also bullshitting about having made a counter-offer? Noone mentions that anymore, as it was clearly a lie.
So why do "neutrals" give equal credibility to both parties, when one was already caught lying? Why do "neutrals" believe Sauerland when he says the offer was ridiculous?
Why didn't they make an offer first if they wanted the fight? Why not make a counter-offer at all? Why didn't they offer Bute what they offered Shiteglitz?

because kessler ran his mouth talking about a low ball offer, but yet didnt reveal it in the same breathe ..... thats bush league on him and him alone...nothing to do with his promotion....he opened the can of worms by saying that.....

Who says that he is allowed to reveal the numbers anyway? Such data is secret.

I think you need to ask the bidder what amount they offered as so far they havent said a word. They have let Arum's numbers stand unopposed. Surely if the numbers where greater they would have said so.

As it is now they are left standing with a reputation of being a lowballing promotor since Pavlik, Johnson and Kessler have said so. Surely 3 independent boxers cannot be wrong. Or maybe you have another plausible explanation?

I may be wrong, but the lowball offer claim of team Kessler happened when? Before or after the Pavlik offer?

For Johnson, you saw that every Bute's fans were outrage about the offer Interbox gave Johnson and they negociate and Johnson used the others "low offer drama" to raise his numbers. Jean Bédard said so, it was something like "Johnson is putting pressure on us to have a better deal by going into the media".

Pavlik went berserk when he heard about the 3M$ offer Kessler received (wich wasnt true). For this case about every Pavlik's fans admit that Pavlik was wrong about.

Bottom line, I think that now Bute will have (genuine or not) a reputation of lowballing when in fact theirs no proof that Bute is lowballing other fighters in a repeating fashion.
