Bute lowballed Kessler!

yea i was here. This isnt the first time BUTES team has Low balled somebody!

 

It didnt matter, pavlik is back at it agaiN! thats all there is to it! he wasn't ready to fight cunningham! so how the hell is he gonna be ready to fight BUTE?

 

You were saying Bute's fans never critic Bute, I gave it to you. Right now we dont know the numbers with Kessler and Pavlik numbers were good.

InterBox's initial offer to Johnson was less than $300,000 after Showtime dramatically cut what it was willing to pay for Bute's next bout.

Leon Margules, Johnson's co-promoter with Lou DiBella, said the offer eventually was improved, but he was still not happy with it. However, Johnson so badly wanted the fight, he gave Margules firm orders not to blow the deal. Margules didn't and Johnson accepted an offer that will pay him less than $400,000.

 

But that has nothing to do with Bute. I wish Pavlik was back as good as he can and I wish that he could have fought Bute and I was disappointed about all this. But again, nothing to do with Bute.

 

I agree a 1.35 mil is a good pay day, but not when the place seats 20,000 plus and probably 600,000 or more PPV views

 

Im not blaming BUTE. What Im saying is he used the Money as an excuse to cover up that he wasn't ready to fight!

 

Last I heard it was 1.35M$ garanty and 60-40% of the profit, so maybe more. Dont forget that in this case and for all the Bute's fights, Interbox make all the business risk there. Bute come with the 13k to 16k fans (they cannot put 20k in Bell center for security reasons) and come with a tv contract. So for sure I can understand them wanting to have more of the money than Pavlik and his team who was garanty his payday.

edit: oh and since it was 60-40 profit, Pavlik would have make money with the PPV views

 

Never heard that. This thread start with a Kessler fan saying that money was the reason Kessler didnt want to make the fight. Not Bute.

 

not allegedly, he had low red blood cells do to illness and doctors told him not to fight but guess what he did anyways, he didnt get knock out he was exausted, do your reserch, anyways have u seen him fight. u sure sound like someone who only seas what he wants to see, clayming he has not foot work no power and a glass jaw. step away from the tree and u will see that theres a forest behind it......dumbass

The fight wasn't gonna generate PPV in the US as a fixed amount was offered by Showtime for the fight. In Canada, it's peanuts that isn't worth wasting time on...

Anyhow, Pavlik was guaranteed 40% of ALL REVENUES !! So even in your illusions, if by magic they would have generated millions and millions, then Pavlik would have always got 40% of that. Please tell me you understand what 40% of an entire pot means.

1.35 million was a guarantee, even if no one buys tickets. Need more clarifications ?

To get to fight the really big fights fighters usually have to accept some risk. Kessler fought Calzaghe away. Froch fought Taylor away etc.

Bute wants zero risk and is still rather stingy. I suggest that to get a guy like Froch to come to Canzada Bute should pay him 80% of the purse or more. Because Bute is not part of the circle of top fighters that fight eachother.. so being an unknown entity noone wants to go and be the first.

Bute needs to get a grip and understand that. When Kessler-Calzaghe happened, the Kessler camp said I will give you this much if the fight is in Copenhagen and I want this much is the fight is in Wales".

When has Bute ever offered to fight a big fight away? He needs to stop playing coy and wake up to the reality that he has fought noone and needs to give some (for example hometown advantage) to get some (a big fight and access to more big fights).

 

But why should he do that..?. His fans loves him anyway............ Kessler pays Stieglitz 3 mill to come to Denmark to fight. Thats how much he want to secure that fight. Bute lowballed Kessler, Pavlik and Johnson, thats who much he wanted to secure the fights......

Bute, Ward and Mayweather fans seems the same. Every other fans or fighters are to blaim.................:-(

 

Kessler is paying 3 mill to take a belt,not to secure a fight cause that fight is already won.
At least 1.35 mill for a drunking bum like pavlik is more than he deserve,think again,the drunk refused to fight cause he is mentally desturbed ,not cause he was lowballed
