    I know that.

    But it's still downgrading Kessler.

You can't pretend being unbiased if you have to resort to attacking the other fighter.

We should leave that to the haters.

    Competitive with Joe.
    Champ for a long time.
    Huge in his country.
Beating Carl Froch is no easy task.

Oh, and getting us rid of Markus Beyer (in 3 if I recall) deserves a lot!

He is at LEAST as much elite as Bute (considering what they've done)

(and you are the one who made him God)

Don't be so harsh on him.
He's been competitive with one of the best SMW ever when he was in his prime, beat Froch very very close but still a win and a fair one.I rate him at #4 who might seem to harsh for his fans but I don't think he is what he once was.

look....you can only live off what you did 5 years ago and before for so long....Beyer was in 2006....we are closing out 2011 soon....
I gave him the froch win....but thats one really good win in 3 1/2 years...
i fail to see how being "champ a long time" entitles him to balk at offers from a current champion and then refuse to say what the offer was...
and you can be a long time champ fighting gus pedromo, a shot eric lucas, manny siacca, mundine...while he had a some good wins, (andrade, beyer) wasnt like they were super fights....
just because hes a huge star and can make a ton of money fighting nonames in denmark...doesnt mean his value is the same once he leaves his back yard and comes in as a challenger with one decent win in almost 4 years....and this whole thread would have been moot if he were to tell us what was so funny about the "joke" he was offered...its all bull****...if its insulting enough for you to walk away from...then it shouldnt be a damn secret

    2007 L12 Joe C
    2008 Dimitri Sartison YAWN
    2008 Danilo Haussler JOKE
    2009 Gusmyr Perdomo 16-2 JOKE
    2009 LTD11 Andre Ward LOSS
    2011 Mehdi Bouadla 22-3 JOKE

sorry man, i know the guy can fight, i know is top 3 ....but his resume is WEAK....and he has 46 fights... and his biggest wins are froch and andrade?

To be fair, it was like 1 week before a deal was conclude between Kessler and Steiglitz.

As usual some Bute fans think with their ass....

    What will obviously happen now?

Answer: Someone will ask the obvious question "what would 31-32 year old BUTE's resume look like if we used that method?

    Ill tell you....

"Superjoke upon superjoke with a couple of jokes in between!"

Another own goal from a ******ed bute fanboy.

Sartison and Froch are both better wins than any of Bute's. You are tripping.

You must be the the reason Kessler retired for a short while.

Boot-stain logic would show that Ward has a terrible resumé as well.

You can play the same game by analyzing Bute'S resume so I don't know what is your point there.

Fact is Kessler is a top 168 fighter.

Since there is no way to know for sure what money was offered, we can't judge if Kessler'side was asking too much or not.

We only know that the fight was said to be dead when Kessler magically became the mandatory for Stieglitz

Seriously which current SMW has a better resume than Kessler? And for the record Mundine, Andrade and Beyer were in the ring top 3 or 5 when Kessler fought them as far as I recall. Kessler fought them back to back only Eric Lucas in between...
