Thing is that we dont know how much Stieglitz and Kessler is making and I can guarantee you that Bute would never ever go to Denmark for 2M to face Kessler, when he can make nearly the same by continuing his demolition of the cabdrivers who's who.

Bute never made 2 millions for one fight , but will never know if he would have travel since Sauerland (i don't say Kessler) never made an offer or a counter-offer

As long as he can make nearly as much with much, much less risk, he'll continue doing that. Interbox is far from ready to cash Bute out just yet.

Kessler has proven that he is elite. Bute hasn't proven that.

how is it lowballing ? cause kessler said so? you know the numbers on pavlik, that was a fare offer.not to mention pavlik was offered to fight in us .and johnson use the lowballing story to squize more money, which he deserve no doubt, but in the end agree to fight.

Yes because Kessler and Sauerland said so. History backs them up as well. Same for Interbox who has a history of being called lowballers (Sartison, Stieglitz(?), Kessler, Pavlik, Johnson). It's possible that you don't sense a trend, but I do.

How is their word more valuable than Interbox's in the press?!? Jean Bedard is the one who disclosed the Pavlik amount, and have talked numbers before in the media. Good show on Sauerland's part in regards to contents, meat, substantiation, wtf you know what I'm talking about.

Sartison?!? Mini WBA champ, didn't and still doesn't have better wins than Bute's, $400K was the offer... that's lowballing? Maybe a bit low, but not to that extreme I don't think.

Stieglitz?!?? You think SES & the gang would be happy to deliver a belt to Canada even for good money? Kessler is a bigger show for them and prime Euro exposure, there goes their preference. Stieglitz never said he'd fight Bute btw.

Kessler - well we don't know, as it's been pointed out in this thread. You can come up with whatever numbers you want, the negos were short. Too short. Not the kind of interest we sensed pre Bute-Magee. Maybe Kessler wanted a 50/50 fight and Interbox told them to throw a belt in the mix, who the hell knows. I'd be fine with that, as long as they face each other within the next 6 months.

Pavlik??? Hahaha. Right. They didn't have an extra booze clause in the contract?!? Kelly is sick, man.

Johnson - yes, and I was a bit pissed. Maybe it's because they couldn't get better fights for the undercard, I don't know. But he's getting his fair share now is he?!

remove your head from your ass for a second and listen.
pavliks team didn't considered the interbox offer a lowball and they agreed to it.kelly backed up cause he heared kessler was given more money than he is - aparently that drunking bum think he is better and deserve more than kessler - that wasn't a lowball in my book, that was a duck
stieglitz never wanted to fight bute, bute can't afford to pay him 3 mill for that papper belt
johnson agreed to fight - where is the lowball?
and then we have kessler coming out from an injury and a 1-1 in super 6. how will another L affect his career? he isn't growing young. This was a duck and he selled to his stupid fanboys as a lowball so they won't be upset and milk them some more when he is fighting sugar ray stieglitz !!!

Way long ago. His resume in the last 3 years has only Froch in it. I concede that's better than any name on Bute's resume but globally, Sartison-Haussler-Perdomo-Froch-Bouadla-Stieglitz is not an exciting resume. That's for the wins, the other 2 elite fighters were losses. For me, Kessler has to prove he is STILL an eiite fighter, especially after his injury.

Bute has to prove more but Kessler has to prove he's still able to do the job.
