Stop talking in the name of Bute. You don't know the guy. If Kessler thinks the same way you do, I understand why he refused to fight Bute.

kessler proves he belongs in the conversation when talking about the top super middles of the last 10 years....

the only problem is he has 1 win of an elite guy of his caliber and that was froch...and he barley won that..but he won... he has 2 big ol LOSSES vs the other 2 in Ward and Joe C. and the guys he beat , other than being a foot note in kesslers history ... they wont be remembered, taled about or even have a thread on a message board started about them

    Mehdi Bouadla
    Gusmyr Perdomo
    Dimitri Sartison
    Librado Andrade
    Markus Beyer
    Manny Siaca
    Anthony Mundine

    Eric Lucas

and yes lucas was pretty good at one time but he had one foot in the grave when the viking warrior took 10 rounds to beat up his corpse..keep in mind lucas was knocked out 2 of his last 4 fights to earn his shot at the prestigious WBA title (and roy beat up and stopped him 10 years earlier, in his prime) :rofl

Kessler is a very good fighter...who doesnt DARE to be GREAT...
but walks around with a Sugar Ray Leonard sense of value

The problem for Bute fan boys is that anyone can take any of your points... and quickly realize that any issue goes double for Bute.

31-32 years old... and he never met anyone.... noone... win or lose.

Kessler doesn't dare to be great? Going to Wales to fight Calzaghe, and to Oakland to fight Ward? It doesn't get much more risky than that.

Bute... truely has not dared a thing ever.

this only concerns the bold statement... pascal and bute being the best local fighter and not being in same weigt class keeps them out of each others way, i know eather one can move up or down with out to much dificulty, Montreal is or is on its way to becoming a major city for boxing, even non local fighters are wanting to fight in montreal, this fight will happen for sure but not now, they promoter are not solid enough financialy to face eatch other at this point it might spell suicide for eather one. but i repeat this fight will happen:bbb

    I agree.

It is a masochistic show of self mutilation.

    Horrible to witness really....

Fans of Bute who incidentally has never fought a serious fight abroad, and has never fought anyone of note anywhere.... merrily accusing Froch, Stieglitz, Pavlik, Kessler etc for ducking big fights and for not wanting to go abroad to fight Bute.

Mind numbing stuff... it's like Osama bin laden accusing Tom Hanks of being unpopular.

no one said anything about Froch,in fact it's a known fact that Froch was the only one who send an offer to Bute. No one accuse Pavlik for ducking...we all said it like it's a known fact and it is.No one said anything about Stieglitz cause that guy doesn't matter. And then we have Kessler who i don't think he is afraid of fighting Bute but his management might be.

I've done that a long while ago. I can disagree with many posters (like JoeAverage, BatTheMan, Jepster, Elvizz etc.) but I like to discuss anyway with them because they like boxing and are most of the time respectful of the professionnals we're talking about.

I feel much better since I put every blind hater, troll and disrespectul posters on my ignore list.
