Let`s make it clear.Bute is one person , his promoter another.Bute wanted very much to fight Kessler. We really don`t know the amount. It`s about a hight risk fight for everyone. But Interbox argued with the invincibility and the belt.

While I have no clue what the invincibility thing is about, you know what he meant in the first part. Bute & his trainer get interviewed here and there saying he wants Kessler ASAP or at least by the end of the year, where as Jean Bedard is probably playing his hand very slow. And don't you agree that the fight is as big a risk for Bute as it is for Kess? Or do you rate Bute above Kessler?

I'm thinking the terms Sauerland wanted in the contract are only possible if Kessler brought a belt in the mix, from Interbox's standpoint.

Lucy said he wants to fight the best for years but then he went on to fight Brinkley, Magee, Mendy :rofl:tired hes a disgrace and has zero credibility whatsoever and a fight with Kessler is impossible to make because Lucy is a gutless coward and will always find one excuse or another to chicken out

He's been making those kind of statements after clearing his name with the second Andrade fight. Super 6 had kicked off already. If you want to give him **** for rematching Ring #3 (1st fight) and #5 (2nd fight) Andrade, then you should give a WHOLE LOT of **** to Andy Lee who's chasing Vera to clear his name so to speak.

Brinkley and Mendy were mandatories. Magee was the best compromise at the time, and Bute said in interviews that it was actually Showtime's pick. So go ahead and blame the guy... but hey you can tell his voice changes, you sense the excitement, when he's asked about facing Kessler or any of the top SMW's (on the radio in this case).

See they went for Kessler, Pavlik, Johnson... who's a better opponent out there at 168? Interbox -finally- acknowledges the fact Bute can mix it up with the best, and there's no excuse from now on as to facing the best to prove he's the best.

After Johnson, it's Kessler/Ward/Froch. There's no way around it, otherwise they'll lose a shitload of credibility even in Quebec.

its like when some one flips you the finger when they are in the car but once you catch up to them and politely try to have an explanation they never look to the side they just keep staring to the front as if they have not sean you:!:

How many offers did he get for "serious fights abroad"? And why do "foreign" promoters still organize these fights in Montreal (or Quebec) when they win the purse bids? (See Andrade2, Hopkins2.)
