Dawson UD He's just a better overall fighter, and that is to take nothing away from Bute. He's a better combination puncher, a more technically skilled fighter, and a more versatile one. I'd love to see Dawson and Calzaghe go at it. For Bute, a fight against Mundine would be great.
Bute is defintley a talented fighter, all he needs to do is improve on his defense, which is fixable. I think around three more fights and he's ready for Kessler. He's fighting Joppy first, than Andrade in the summer, and after that he could possibly fight Froch or Inkin. In 3 fights we should see a dramatic improvement from Bute. But I do agree with you Decebal, he will never be ready for Dawson.
And there's nothing wrong with that; everyone is endowed with a certain potential which cannot be surpassed. If you do your best with what you have, you've won. :good
Bute's chin never tested? I don't think his chin his granite or that he would easily beat Dawson or anything like that. I just thought it was a funny statement considering these pictures. This content is protected This content is protected
:scaredas: :scaredas: :scaredas: :scaredas: :scaredas: Civil war, indeed! (They are good mates and sparr all the time, so they know each other inside out) Would only happen at 175, and only if Diaconu won a world title...towards the end of their careers, as a farewell fight...and even then, I cannot see it happening...but it would draw quite a crowd...but not as big as the Bute v. Pascal crowd...:yep
Would tell us how hard Bute is, but would it tell us how good a boxer he is? Granted, he'd have to be a good boxer to avoid those hooks and uppercuts...:think Mundine fight would probably tell us more...no?
Bute's chin has been checked and it's at least solid. He took flush shots from Berrio (who's a very big puncher), Bika (who isn't exactly feather fisted) and Toney (who also punches pretty hard) and didn't seem fazed by any of them.
