Dawson misses the punching power to keep Bute of him to long. I say Bute wins on TKO with a bodyshot.
Yes Dawson has a very low KO ratio. Something like 55% and the majority of those KOs where vs low quality opponents. Bute on the other hand has 80%+ KO ratio. He won the IBF belt with an TKO and also 4 out of his 5 fights for defending its title were KOs/TKOs.

both had never face quick boxer like they are so it's hard to predict how they will react! It's a close one but because of Bute hitting harder i'll go with him!
Dawson by late TKO. Better opponent quality. And for people thinking Bute will beat Dawson, how do you think Bute / Adamek would play out then?
this is a valid point. i was thinking the very same thing. its easy just just say dawson b/c he's just as gifted and he's bigger but i wouldnt write bute off. dawson doesnt lay people out on the regular and has shown a leaky defense at times and bute can bang, especially to the body. i can't say that a prediction that dawson would take it is wrong, but those who say its an easy win for dawson are very seriously underestimating bute.
dawson can whoop his ass...but he will treat him like a plague. tap tap getaway.. glen johnson might take a day of the construction site to fight bute and kill him.
Tough fight for Bute. I think Dawson is better then Bute at almost everything except maybe punching power. My money would be on Dawson but I'd be rooting for Bute.
