All these frauds like to take the easy path, like fighting boxers well past prime.
LOL, Johnson was a threat when Calzaghe ducked him, but today he is really an old man with a history of not being good enough to win the big fights.
If Bute wasn't a bum, he'd do something special like Jones, Hopkins, and Toney, like step up and call out Tarver, or Pascal.
But he's a bum, so he's calling out past prime contenders like Johnson, Kessler, or the bouncer at the hooker lounge
Why do you BAA suffer'ers repeated accept this blatant bumitude?

Fighting a 42 year old with 15 losses and lost his last fight is not ideal but we know Johnson always comes to fight. I think the extensive sparring they have undergone together could make it interesting too

I had 115-113 for Johnson against Froch. And someone is going to get knock out in this fight, Johnson is gonna place some of his sneaky right hand through all the fight, I'm sure of it.

This might be a classic fight, both style fits perfectly.

Bute haters will call Johnson old, out of shape, out of prime, Blevel, and on and on and on. All the while they will say that 46 y/o Bhop or 42 y/o Tarver is a better challenge:rofl as if their age means nothing.

Froch just sneaked out of win over Johnson in what many called a robbery. Johnson has 15 Ls in his career, find the fights, watch them, and objectively count his losses. It's really closer 5 with 4 more draws, and 6 outright robberies.
Who HASNT Johnson fought? He'll be leaving Montreal with his 6th true loss, but he'll retire knowing he fought ALMOST every champion in every weight class he has fought in.

Do I think Johnson is title worthy, NO. But it is a better fight than Pirog at this point, and Ward will duck Bute until Bute moves up probably. Should Froch beat Ward this fall, we might actually get a UNI fight, but we all mostly know that Ward will run and potshot Froch for a decision win, and then go into hiding when the Bute fight come up.:-(

I wouldn't say Johnson nearly beat Froch but Glen is the best out there for Bute at the moment

    Some peoples had Jonhson winning.

For my self i had 115-113 Froch

116-112 would be good too because of the close rounds
    117-111 i think it's biased
    118-110 Nuthuggers
    119-109 Pierre Besnoit
120-108 Should stop watching boxing right now

Johnson isn't anything special so people will still say Bute has fought bums & old men. It's still a good fight though as Bute can beat Johnson more impressively than Froch then hopefully fight Froch then Ward.

Froch would man up for certain, and had he known the S6 tournament would tie him up so long, I doubt he would have enlisted in hindsight. I think Froch is seething to get in with Bute, Ward, and Kessler again. Ward is mandated now, so he'll get that fight, but talk about 2 years wasted.

He couldv'e already fought Bute and rematched Kessler had he steered clear of the career invasive tourney.
