Caballero outpriced himself from what I've heard, then Arena took on a different path and signed with Top Rank (setting up a future JuanMa superfight). Honestly, it would've been too soon for Gamboa, and Caballero needs to get a few more quality wins to be more popular. But in the end, I think team Caballero simply asked for too much, so nothing Gamboa could do about it.

the fight was almost done until gamboa signed with arum. now it looks likegamboa will fight celestino's stablmate whyber garcia. this attitude that a champion needs to build his name in order to get paid against a challenger who has done jack ****, is what is ****ing up the game of boxing. boxing was a merit sport you earned what you got by doing your job in the ring. now fighters are simply being annointed without actually accomplishing anything.

man after reading a lot of your posts i have to come to the conclusion that you are the biggest gamboa hater ever, check this out g caballero's camp was asking showtime for too much money they said that negotiations between caballero's camp and showtime were 200,000 dollars apart according to dan rafael , so anyways what you said isnt even close to what really went on
