    That cut was for ****.

Calderon should have tried to continue no matter what. Supposedly he was told - excel tonight and you will be on American tv next time. The cut was not on his eye as far as impairing his vision goes it was minimal. It just hurt like a ***** and was bleeding, with some of that blood getting in his eyes, possibly.

What did the doctor ask him? "Can you see?" I don't think so.

HBO must be patting themselves on the back for not televising this fight.

Perhaps, but he just had his chance at MGS to show the world what he can do and he blew it. There'll be a rematch.

Probably, but it was actually a thrill. I mean even at that stage is about right. WIth no cut it would have been a really good fight IMO, it was getting dirty, lifting off, both guys leading with hooks, Calderon on the mvoe, Mayol determined to win it with pressure.

He had a chance to win over some fans ... and let it slip.

I doubt he would rest easy about it, its the first blemish on his record. He can no longer say he won all of his fights.

He'll still go down as an undefeated fighter if he retires tomorrow. Look at Ricardo Lopez. Fact is, the rematch is inevitable, and we'll probably see Calderon put on a much better performance. If he gets redemption, then nobody will talk about the draw. They probably won't talk about it anyway given the circumstances. The only thing Calderon should be concerned about is that he just missed his chance to perform on the biggest stage.

Cut didn't look as bad as the last one. 5-8 months.

Calderon showing a lot of class and keeping it real in the interview.

Says he knows the headbutts werent accidental, isnt crying and claiming he was robbed. He also would welcome a rematch.
