I like Barry Hearn & he does talk sense but I just cant see a stoppage in this one either way.

i don't know, hopkins hasnt been used to fighting at a pace calzaghe sets, and i think it will be all abot who set the pace in this fight,if calzaghe can avoid clinches and fight from the outside working his openings and not allowing bhop to slow the fight down there may be a possibility,at 25-1 i'm most certainly going to put £10 on it.

Spend the tenner on beer mate. Hopkins is the master of controlling the pace, he won't have to fight at Calzaghe's pace.

There is one way. There's a slim chance of Hopkins showing his age suddenly and gassing late in the fight.

    Pretty unlikely though.

I don't think Hopkins will ever be stopped but he will lose on points. Hopkins doesn't get stopped though.

  13. Hopkins is 43yrs old, if Calzaghe is winning the fight late, and starts banging away at Hops on the ropes a stoppage might happen it depends on the ref???, most likely scenario is Cali winning on points by UD, HE'S just to active and throws to many punches compared to Hops..

Show me some footage of Hopkins ever coming close to being stopped. Also, you keep going on about his age but in his last fight he defeated Winky Wright, who was a p4p fighter at the time.

Hopkins wont be stopped by somebody like Calzaghe....BHOP has an Iron chin, and knows all the tricks in the book. If anything, he will stop Joe with a counter straight right hand of a clinch. Thats my prediction, Hopkins stops Joe with a straight right hand.
