    It has come to a point where you can't read a post or argument about British or SM fighters without someone puting Calzaghes name in there and starting a whole new argument. Does this mean that every other fighter lives in joes shadow? why cant the froch's Kesslers and wards of this world be merited on thier own achievements without comparing them to joe?

    Standard day on ESB, and there are about 3 or 4 Calzaghe threads on the front page.

    There's a big fight in the SMW division, and for days on end there are 10+ Calzaghe threads on the front page.

    Because Super Middleweight is, for the first time, one of the top divisions in boxing and Joe is considered the best at the weight so comparisons are natural.
