It aint that bad a fight rewatching it at least it was competitve unlike the bore mismatch with the corpse of Roy Jones.
It wasn't the most exciting. But it was still good to watch Hopkins bust him up on a few occasions. Calzaghe looked frustrated all night long, and was finding it difficult to dictate the pace of the fight
Disgusting fight to watch, Hopkins was a disgrace in this one. lead with head, right hand, hold, complain of low blow, repeat.
Terrible fight, Joe trying to press the action and Hopkins fighting like he was content complaining about a close decision. Why doesn't he just go for it instead of complaining? Anyway, clear Calzaghe win.
my god, i was gonna start a thread about this fight in a bit, and saying that i do enjoy watching it. not for the all out excitement, more for the display of skill from both guys, was a chess match, not for the casual fan but i like it.

I do plan to watch it again. I remember thinking Calzaghe won it. A guy I know thinks that Hopkins genuinly thought he won the fight and that he could have done more. It was the first time I watched Calzaghe and I think he was a great boxer. I would have like to see him try to hold a little more ground and maybe fight Dawson and a few others.
Not a great fight. Calzaghe couldn't land a punch and Hopkins didn't seem to have the stamina to land more than a few punches a round.
I did give it to Hopkins, but everyone is giving the opportunity to give there own opinion. I also enjoyed the fight, but again to each there own.
