    All these boxer's saying they are gonna retire so it makes you feel this is gonna be the LAST time to watch this fighter fight.


    • Calzaghe on retiring after the fight: "I wish I had never mentioned retirement. I am a fighter focusing on this fight and this fight only. Not what I am going to do once I retire. I am not planning any retirement parties. I am going to come 100 percent. I am hungry for this fight."

    He is definitely not gonna retire after Jones beats his ass. He's gonna wait around and fight the winner of Jones/Hopkins II.

    It's not always intentionally a ploy to sell the fight. These guys often believe it when they say it, but then their determination to retire fades over time, etc.. Ya, it does get tiring hearing a retirement speech every big fight.

    He should retire unless he decides 50-0 is the number he wants and considering i have never seen him mention it, I expect him to retire.
