    I think Calzaghe will take one fight at a time, and if his hands and motivation stay strong he will attempt to get to 50 and 0.
    He has not stated this publicly, but i believe his goal is to get to 50 and 0 and achieve legendary status !
    Joe would be perceived as an all time great if he got to 50 and 0, and he knows it, i say perceived because a lot of people on here will say he wasted his best years etc, we all know that Marciano had a film made about him and sports fans around the world have heard of him not just boxing fans, yet we all know that Marciano struggles to make the leaderboard on most all time greats boxing lists {only won title 7 times against 5 different men, most of which were old at the end of their careers, he would have lost against most of them in their prime ?, etc}
    Joe is very aware of his boxing history and if he can pass Marciano 49 and 0, he will become a boxing immortal.

    I don't think that he will carry on, unless he loses to RJJ then I don't see him fighting again. MAYBE a rematch with Hopkins but that doesn't seem likely either.

    i think is Joe fights on at all, it should be for 50-0, having a year out then facing someone like Froch before retiring means very lil, he may aswel retire after Jones.

    If he sets himself a goal of 50-0 then its worth staying on.

    The interesting question is who should the remaining 4 opponents be...

    Hopkins rematch, Dawson, Abraham, maybe Pavlik, Froch
    He should fight some real opponents, not old men.

    Not old men, but you want him to fight Hopkins again...:D

    I doubt Pavlik fancies it now hop has beat him so badly, no guarentee Dawson wants any part of Joe either...

    He is already a legend and an ATG. I doubt he will continue, although I think a farewell fight in Wales is possible.

    i'm only interested in seeing him fight dawson after RJJ. if that's not going to happen then he should just call it a day. there's nobody else worth bothering with.

    I hope he fights Chad Dawson. I have been saying for a while that that kid is gonna be a star. He showed it in his last fight.

    one more fight at most, he's getting old, has all the money he needs and will end up getting hurt if he goes on too long. assuming he beats jones, fight dawson and if he wins, then nobody should doubt how good he's been .

    He said he would consider rematching Kessler the other day. I would like to see that.
