The supposed date for this fight is September 20th so I'm surprised we haven't heard any official announcment yet with it being less than 12 weeks away.

Is it safe to assume that this isn't happening or not on this date at least?

Calzaghe probably saw Jones walking without his stick again & bottled it:)

    LOL.

Seriously though, it's got to be doubtful now I can't see either fighter taking much less than 12 weeks to prepare for the fight.

I guess it will be sometime in October as November is already packed with fights and events.

If it's in the States on that date he's gonna **** off a lot of fans.

How are they supposed to sort everything and save in less than 12 weeks??

Especially considering this is the second fight there this year.

Both guys hardly give a **** about this fight as a contest so why bother doing a full 12 weeks training?

Yeah it's certainly coming across that way.

I went out to Vegas for the Hopkins fight and loved it so vowed to go out there again if his last fight was in the states.

But the way I feel at the moment I'm more likely to go out there for the Hatton v Malignaggi fight.

The Pavlik fight would have been massive I think he's pissing a lot of his fans off by taking this fight instead.

Clazaghes legacy is forged against men well past it. Eubank, Hopkins and now Jones... Eubank rocked him to his boots, Hopkins floored him.... Maybe Jones will do that arms behind his back thing again.

But a prime Kessler is probably his best win though even though he was way past his physical prime.

I believe people will see just how good that win was in a couple of years time when Kessler moves up to 175 after unifying 168.
