Goes to show that a muscular build and being ripped isn't going to win you fights. On the inside, Calzaghe was the stronger fighter - pushing Lacy around and out muscling him.
Sometimes a fighter steps into the ring and just doesn't have it that night. Maybe Calzaghe would always beat Lacy even if they fought ten times, but Jeff is a much better fighter than he showed that night.
Lacy was the same fighter that demolished Reid. His speed, skill and power was identical. These things of course are relative. Watch the fight again, there is nothing slow or sluggish about Lacy's movements.
Not true...most 100m actually have the same type of physique like Lacy. Asafa Powell's physique is impressive.
According to Wikipedia he's 5 "9, boxrec says he's 5 "10. In the end, 1 inch doesn't make a difference. Maurice Green and Jeff Lacy are pretty much the same height and build. Hell, Maurice Green might only be 5 "8 but tells people he's 5"9. I know I do sometimes
