Im sorry but id only picking Saad because of the extra natural weight advantage, id pick Calzage h2h p4p, because Saad will be open on the inside, which is a terrible thing against him, but Saad could stop him though, which may possibly happen in reall terms

 

Calzaghe will be open as well, fighting a stronger, far more powerful hitter, coming in as aggressively as he does. Banging with a puncher like Muhammad is not the smartest gameplan. Calzaghe is more versatile, and P4P is capable of winning it I guess fighting the right fight, but there's not that big a difference between 168 and 175 anyway.

Thats what i meant , in real terms , as in Calzage fights him at 175, the stronger Saad will possibly stop him. But p4p i would pick Joe personally , because of the versatility (its close), Joe would just get the more shots in and win more rounds i think p4p h2h

 

I am not sure if 175 is Joe's weight division but Sadd had problems being hit and Joe's speed would be a problem for Saad,especially along the ropes where Saad like to lay

 

Saad at LH beats Calzaghe ,Saad beat Conteh ,who would have stopped Joe imo.

 

I was saying that there's not much difference at all between 168 and 175, and Joe can fight at 175, so how much difference would that tiny adjustment make in a P4P sense?

 

You're right that there's not much difference, but from a pure technical viewpoint (or to make it justifiable in my mind!!!), i will say that Calzage wins h2h p4p, but Saad does so at 175!!!

It could be argued though, that Calzage has been the greater fighter, dominated his division, and did wind up with some class wins. Though Saad fought quality opposition, was never the best of his era, a great warrior we all know however

 

Yeah, 168 is really just a small light-heavy.

Saad has just about everything over Calzaghe, he's even the better technical boxer with an excellent jab that would pile up the points

 

Saad, once he drags Calzaghe deep, wins on a late TKO.

 

Calzaghe.

He dominates the cards and fights smart and wins the lopsided decision. I don't think Saad would look very good against a southpaw and Joe would turn him and fight him at 10 and 2 o'clock. Saad would spend the night trying to line him up at noon but this guy just won't cooperate and trade. Ugly kind of fight for Saad and Joe's busy busy style and not trying to hurt or stop Saad just won't benefit him with windows like those traders did, like Johnson and Lopez.
