He'd have showboated until he got knocked on his ass a few more times, then he'd have taken his beating like a man, the way a shot Jones just did.

Joe said it was part of his style

So why didnt he do that against B-Hop.

If Joe put his face on B-Hop's chest like he did to roy, Hop would of either did a short right to floor joe, or Clinch his head and rough him up

I thought it was disrespectful to the fans as much as Jones. It's cool one or two times a fight, but I pay to see a boxing match, not some guy shake his hips at the other fighter all night. Who wasn't thinking, "alright give it a rest already"?

    I just dont get it.

People complain about this or that with Joe and when he does somthing they ****ing complain.

It was a clinical obliteration of the best the US has to offer.

Sipmle but never the less a devestationg fact!!!!!

I think the amount of show boating Joe partook in was a sign of how in control and domineering he actually was......

hard to showboat against a guy that is holding, grabbing, and clinching like John Ruiz.

I'm a fan of both fighters. But I hated when Jones did that against a fighter he clearly had outmatched.

And I don't think Jones ever did it as much as Calzaghe did last night.

Plus some of Jones' showboating was actually pretty cool, like the punch from behind the back or the KD against Toney.

Both fighters looked like ****, Roy was gunshy, and Joe did his slap happy pitter-pat bull****.

ONE PUNCH opened the cut, and it was at a weird angle.. he didn't bust up Jones.

Johnson and Tarver busted up Jones. Joe didn't land very clean most of the fight, and he's being given credit like he was some superpower.

I also think he did it too much last night but it's still very hypocritical of people seeing the backlash from last night, considering who he was fighting(like you said Roy did it to garbage men and the like, far worse IMO). Also Joe has a pretty sizeable ego and getting put on his backside in the first round and having Roy showboat after it would have left him abit embarresed and i think that played a part in the amount he did.

The KD of Toney was class.

I thought Calzaghe hurt Jones pretty good with that straight left. Fans can't seem to realize that although Calzaghe slaps he also mixes in nice straight lefts and good bodywork too.

Dunno what fight you were watching but there wasnt any slapping at all, he worked the body very well and his straight left and Jab was working beautifully.

I had no problem with Calaghe showboating it was funny and entertaining at the same time. I don't think he would have done that against a prime Roy Jones becasue he would be too busy trying not to get knocked out.
