Bhop is a dirty fighter and Joe already beat his ass. **** Bhop. Pavlik should have fought AA for unification.

Correct. Hopkins tactics guaranteed he go 12 and not make Joe look good BUT were never going to get him the decision. Kessler went all out,win or bust.

Nice to talk to someone on this board that does not let nationality cloud there thought process.

hmmm. Hopkins was tew closest but it wasn't exactly a 'tough' fight, just an ugly one. Kessler I think was toughest because it was fairly close and Kessler remained dangerous throughout.

But Calz has been in a few tough fights earlier in his career too.

    Hopkins.

He made it very difficult for Calzaghe to do anything by sitting back, lunging in with the head or lead right, holding, cheating and faking injury throughout.

Not taking anything away from him because it almost worked for him and he knew it was the gameplan he had to adopt to have a chance at winning. Everyone saw what Hopkins can still do against Pavlik but Hopkins isn't stupid, if he had adopted that gameplan against Calzaghe then he would have lost a comfortable UD.

It's incredible that Calzaghe haters claim that BH won the fight!! What a joke.

KESSLER: Like DiBella said (and Joe himself has said) the Kessler fight is where he met real adversity. In round 8 the fight was open and then Joe pulled those round 9, 10 and 11 in - which in DiBella's mind shows Joe's greatness to overcome adversity (and I agree). Kessler won round 12, but was 3-4 rounds after at that point.

HOPKINS: Calzaghe didnt have to change anything for Hopkins. His stamina just ran Bernard over and that was obvious from the beginning of round 2 that Bernard couldn't keep up.

    Clearly Kessler.

Rofl? What? You mean despite the fact Hopkins finished the fight without a mark on him, dropped Calzaghe, stunned him another time and didnt get hit with anything more then 2-3 clean punches the whole fight?

If these are the 3 best options, there's something wrong with his career.
