Nate's statement: "One other thing that makes me laugh too is that throughout this entire promotion, Guzman and his people made allegations against me regarding steroid use, yet it is Guzman who bulked up so much mass that he couldn't even make 135. And to get sympathy, they are claiming that he was throwing up blood. This is not a symptom of dehydration to make weight. Throwing up blood is a symptom of using too much diuretics."

James Toney apparently used them to make 160 before his awful performance against Dave Tiberi. Roberto Duran is said to have used them to make 147 for the Leonard rematch. Ricardo Mayroga, I think he got caught using a banned diuretic for the DLH fight.
diuretics helps in urination. but coughing up blood isnt really a side effect of diuretics. Vomiting, i can see but the only way i can see his claim of vomiting blood as a excuse would be if way too much was used with other medication (maybe aspirins) to the point of acidosis in the lungs. But diuretics is in no way a performance enhancer. diuretics will usually leave a person weak, slow, headache and stupid. diuretics can be used ,but only a few days before a fight would mean packed iv infusion, to counter the side effects of diuretics.
Well I agree he should start fighting and stop talking but I aint waiting for his next brutal defeat.
